Schools Closed for CHOGM to be Re opened on Wednesday

The Ministry of Education said that 34 schools which were closed due to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) would re-open on Wednesday, 20th November.

“35 schools in Colombo were closed for two weeks from 6th November. The schools would be open from Wednesday except the ‘Adiambalama Maha Vidyalaya’ which will re open tomorrow” the ministry said.

The ministry confirmed that the schools had been taken necessary steps to complete end of term course work despite being closed for two weeks.
