Road closures today!

Several roads in Colombo and the Colombo-Katunayake expressway would be closed intermittently for a short periods today due the VVIP movement, Police said.

The road from President’s Secretariat (Old Parliament) roundabout to Kollupitiya via Galle Face, Liberty Roundabout, Public Library Junction, Dharmapala Mawatha, Nelum Pokuna Mawatha, Horton Place,  Borella Junction, Baseline Road and the Expressway would be closed time to time, closing for 20 minutes maximum as the heads of Government are scheduled to leave for their countries, Police spokesman said.
